Infrared Technology

Infrared technology (thermography) is a relatively new to the technical world of electricity and is mostly used for preventive maintenance purposes.

An infrared camera can measure the emission of heat coming from an object or person and can take a digital image or video of that object or person. The technology itself is used in many professions like in the army, firefighters, veterinarians, medics, building surveyors, mechanical inspectors, and electrical inspectors.

Electrical Infrared Inspections
During an electrical infrared inspection a digital image is made of each part of the electrical installation to be inspected. Loose contacts, bolts or screws, overheated or overpowered parts (cabling, fuses, relays, panels etc.), or unbalanced lines can be detected during an inspection.

The biggest advantage of an infrared inspection is that the inspection is being done during full operation of the electrical installation. So shutting down a perfectly good working electrical installation is not necessary anymore. Producers can keep producing; hotels can keep giving service to their clients, etc.

Certification
Time Line Services is certified by the ITC (Infrared Training Center) and complies with the regulations and safety protocol needed for infrared inspections.

Reports
After each inspection, which is recommended to do periodically, Time Line Services n.v. will report its findings with a professionally written report. This report contains all needed information about our findings for our clients per installation (or part of installation) and the preventive measurements that should be taken with their urgency divided in 4 levels.
